			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Who would have thought that  the ordinary coffee, so integral to many of our lives, would also be victim to the deepening recession. The high-end coffee business has shown a slow-down, and as the owner of Portland Roasting, Mark Stell puts it, they have had a low holiday sale, though February perked to a neat high. He also adds that while offices and hotels have reduced their orders, Universities and grocers are now asking for more. As he puts it people “don’t leave coffee”. Not for nothing has it been around this past 1500 years .And it’s still the  morning cuppa that cheers and energises!</p>
